Southeastern Outdoor Press Association Honors Mike Pehanich’s Small Waters Fishing!

What a thrill and honor!

Mike Pehanich’s Small Waters Fishing received 2nd place in the Realtree Website Horizons Award outdoors website competition presented by the Southeastern Outdoor Press Association (SEOPA) at its annual awards banquet held in Johnson City, Tennessee, September 26-29.

Small waters are great places to join with Nature, catch fish, hone skills and introduced others to the great sport of fishing.

My deepest thanks to our sponsors, subscribers and everyone who has visited Small Waters Fishing on the Internet. Without your readership, viewing, support and encouragement, our website would not have survived, let alone merited this distinction.

And, of course, our deep, deep thanks to SEOPA and Realtree for acknowledging our work with this distinguished award in SWF’s very first year!

Based in Unionville, Tennessee, SEOPA is one of the nation’s most prestigious organizations representing outdoor journalism and communications.

Founded by Bill Jordan in 1986, Realtree is the foremost marketer of camouflage apparel and outdoor equipment and accessories.

"My thanks to SEOPA, Realtree, all our sponsors, subscribers and viewers -- and particularly to my wife, Lynn." -- Mike Pehanich

Today the Columbus, Ga.-based company has over 1,500 licensees.

Again, our deep thanks!            — Mike & Lynn Pehanich

P.S. My deepest thanks of all to my wife, Lynn. Without her support and encouragement, Small Waters Fishing would be just another great idea! – MP
